elcome to www.3V1L.com
Primarily a gaming clan, since 1999, :3V1L: has undergone a great many transitions. From a small Counter Strike 1.5 clan, to multiple World of Warcraft guilds, the memories have been fond. As all things grow & change, I [Mr.J0K3R] have decided to utilize my personal web domains for a more active purpose... open-ended, religiously, politically, & socially charged discussions. While we will be keeping the gaming clan forums open & available, communications for & with old friends, we are sad to say the :3V1L: Gaming Clan is no more. Mr.J & Wonder will miss the days of gaming with old friends, but encourage everyone to stop by & debate with us any time! Thank you for everything the gaming community have given us over the last decade, it's been a blast!

or those of you new to 3V1L.com...
A grand welcome to you all, we do hope to address your individual irrationalities, illogical thought processes, and delusional deities. In the order we deem appropriate. While we may not offend you all, we do encourage any "insightful" input by the general public. No matter what walk of life you may come from, we're sure to find a place for your "knowledge", opinion, or viewpoint inside the Catalog of the Irrational. Please note, any perceived; aggression, anger, or other assumed emotional negativity towards your beliefs is directly proportionate to how absurd your statement is vs accepted reality. If, for some reason, you feel offended by anything found @ www.3V1L.com please don't contact us directly... we simply don't have the time or care to address every issue. Only the ones we deem worthy. Your best bet would be braving public ridicule by posting a new discussion in our forums, after registering of course.

Common ways people invalidate their arguments

Content - Religions

Here is quick list of some common fallacies, these three represent the bulk of what I hear in religious, conspiratorial, and political discussions.

Straw man: Your opponent will build an imaginary form of your argument, and then beat the stuffing out of it; hoping nobody will notice that the real argument has not been addressed.
Example: "So you believe in Evolution huh? So you believe we came about through random chance? Do you realize how silly that is!" (Evolution is not a theory of chance, but some will straw man that it is.)
